Dardara
After 25 years of tireless career and at the peak of their career, the rock band Berri Txarrak decides to stop. Before, and as a farewell, they undertake one last tour around half the world to thank all those fans who have vibrated with their music during this time.
The filmmaker Marina Lameiro embarks with them intending to record it, and build a choral portrait based on diverse stories that range from her own land to Mexico, Germany, Japan, and the United States… all of them marked by a common passion: music by Berri Txarrak.

We accompany Urbizu on his journey towards the creative future as he reflects on the power of music and the passion that has guided the band from its beginnings to its latest tour.
This cinematographic story captures the essence of Berri Txarrak, a universal phenomenon that has influenced multiple generations. In it, we discover that his songs have left a deep mark on musical culture, transcending styles and becoming an integral part of the lives of thousands of people. “Dardara” is more than a documentary, it’s an emotional journey through music and the incontestable dedication of a band that has left an indelible mark on the independent scene.

MARINA LAMEIRO
She was born in Pamplona in 1986 and graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the URJC University of Madrid. She completed a master’s degree in Documentary Creation at the Pompeu de Fabra University in Barcelona, specializing in editing. She completed a postgraduate degree at the same university, later moved to New York, and did a residency at the UnionDocs space with other artists. There she directed the short documentary 300 Nassau about gentrification.
Together with Garazi Erburu and Ione Atenea, she founded the production company Hiruki Filmak to produce her films and help other women make theirs.
Young & Beautiful (2018) is her first feature film, a portrait of several young people of her generation. During 2019 she recorded Dardara, a documentary about the group Berri Txarrak and its followers.
